Oh this was one of the templates for blogging when I got started years ago but not as much anymore. As I was trying to navigate how I was going to introduce many of the blog post topics and I decided that this was the way to go.

Now the Nitty Gritty (nope not fishing in the dark)

I was raised by my grandparents in the countryside of New Glarus, Wisconsin, until I was 13 years old. Attended Public Elementary School. Played Piano and Saxophone(alto).

My Father had custody of my brother and I while my mother got us on every other weekend. For half my elementary school years, my mother lived on the east coast so I did not see or hear from her more than twice a year or so.

At 9 years old, I became an addict to pornography, this lasted until I was in college. Don’t you go judging now. My addiction was out of my control until I was 13, and it became an on and off addiction that lasted until 19. It took me to heal from my addiction to fully cut ties with it. It was a long and tiresome battle especially as I did it alone.

Moved to Cashton, Wisconsin. A location that seems to have more Amish than Englishmen. We moved for my brother and I to attend the Private Adventist school that nestled in the countryside in the driftless region. I attended for 4 years in which I learned how to play football which I was pretty good at.

My mother remarried while I was a junior in Highschool in which I gained a stepfather(#2) and four step siblings(we don’t talk no more).

Junior and Senior Year of Highschool, I attended the Wisconsin Adventist Boarding School. No… we were not rich nor was the school promoted to be for the rich unless you count the international students who could pay in full. The school was known for its gymnastic and choiraliers but… as far as education it was blah and dorm life was interesting. You sure can’t escape your ex when you see them all the time.

My Father owned a Construction Company, specialty was ICF’s(Concrete Lego Blocks). Both my Father and Step mother had bought a vet clinic half way during high school. I was very young when I started helping my father on his construction jobsites and was technically his unpaid employee for the majority of my early to late teen years. I was doing construction, office management/assistant, bookkeeping, receptionist, landscaping and vet assistant(as much as I can without degree).

Went to Technical College For Welding. I am a Certified Welder. I did finish all my courses to get my associates which means I can pipe and TIG weld(my favorite). Why, Welding… I hated school and I thought I was too dump to do anything else!

I have Dyslexia, ADHD and Anxiety Disorder with a slice of OCD. I would get officially tested but they already have it in the Medical Doc without diagnosis so what is the point.

Family Life: I have been married 10 years to the man I had a crush on when I was 13 years old. Our love language seems to be acting like kids and bugging the heck out of each other. We both have five feral children! I have been a stay at home mom for 9 years. I seem to never escape from the toddler and baby hood, there’s got to be a light at the end of that tunnel. I love being a wife and mother even if my hair is following out!

Our little family lives on my in-laws property. I do not hate this arrangement though it isn’t always easy but my in-laws are not hard to get along. I mean I actually like my mother-n-law!

We homestead with Chickens and Goats, we are in the middle of kidding season which means beautiful little furry kids jumping around!!
